We need your help to better serve you and your customers. Please take a moment to read the following:
Many warranty order forms received by Cartronics from dealerships contain unclear and ambiguous fault descriptions; 'Bluetooth cuts out or drops out' or 'Screen goes blank' are common examples. A better description in this instance might be 'Audio LCD shows Bluetooth disconnected' or 'Call is disconnected for no reason'. If the screen goes blank, try to determine when this occurs; is it when the car is started or during a phone call or other event?
Please do your best to obtain best fault descriptions directly from the vehicle owner and include them in the fault detail area of the on-line warranty order form. This will allow Cartronics to better diagnose the cause of the audio system issue and root cause.
Lastly, we are still seeing a large number of incomplete fields on the order forms. About half of orders received by Cartronics are missing complete firmware versions or missing smartphone information like brand, model and software version.
